Since 1962, Phoenix House Mid-Atlantic (formerly known as Vanguard Services Unlimited) has been committed to meeting the substance abuse treatment needs of individuals in the Mid-Atlantic region. We strive to help our clients, including those struggling with co-occurring mental health problems, become healthy, productive, and self-sufficient citizens. Our residential, outpatient, and transitional programs for adults and adolescents serve more than 1,900 people annually and change lives each and every day. We also offer family counseling, job search assistance, parenting education and specific services for men whose primary language is Spanish.
Phoenix House Mid-Atlantic has embarked on a $3.5 million capital campaign to expand the footprint of the Kline building, the agency’s treatment facility for the Men’s Program and Boys Recovery Lodge. The Young Adult Treatment Fund will provide financial means for treatment of substance use disorders for young adults, ages 18-30, who are clinically in need of additional services and have exhausted all other funding resources.
